| The Burning Tide is the product of a relentless search for like minds among Ottawa's musical talent that was put in motion by Laviolette and Clifford in 2013. Following the amicable dissolution of Orchid Thieves, Laviolette and Clifford set a new course for their music - one that would be brightened with female vocals and modernized with electronic elements. Together with Jowett and Kittur, the new entity was formed and within the year a library of songs was created that crystallized their sonic intentions. The band is now setting out to gain attention through live shows and independent music releases. | |
