Lindsay Bryden is a professional freelance flutist based in London, UK. An avid chamber and orchestral musician, she has served as principal of Orchestre de la francophonie, Youth Orchestra of the Americas and Orchestra Vitae. Lindsay is a frequent collaborator in chamber music projects. As a soloist, she has performed in such venues as St Martin in the Fields and the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room, and in many festivals including Music and Beyond (Ottawa), Spitalfields (London) and Vianden (Luxembourg). Lindsay earned her MA in flute performance under William Bennett at the Royal Academy of Music in 2015, where she was the winner of the Jonathan Myall Piccolo Prize. She is a graduate of the Royal College of Music and of Interlochen Arts Academy, and has worked with such masters as Sir James Galway and Emmanuel Pahud. She was awarded an emerging artist grant from the Canada Council for the Arts in 2014 and was a 2013 Sylva Gelba Music Foundation award recipient.
